Hola
we had a pretty memorable week as we got to meet President Resek for the first time!!!! The mission is going to completely flip upside down soon just not sure when because President Robertson and President Resek are almost opposite people haha. President was very strict and very formal in just about everything. He always brought the spirit very powerfully into every meeting or any interview I had with him. But it’s pretty easy to tell that President Resek is from Argentina. Our zone and two others meet up at a chapel in Merlo and we waited an hour and a half until he and his family showed up but when he showed up he was full of energy and animo. He came around to each one of us gave us a hug and we each got to have a quick conversation with him. President Resek is just full of energy to work. He is really funny to because once things settled down his wife gave a talk to introduce herself and President Resek came up to the pulpit and interrupted her a bunch of times in the middle of her talk and then when it was President Reseks turn his wife came up a few times and started to interrupt him during his talk; it was pretty funny, they're just such Argentines. It was weird as well to because their son Elder Resek was there with us and that was the first time they have seen each other since he left, so it got a little trunky in the room for a sec but after they had to basically ignore him the whole time. I also just received all the letters from the primary! I read all of them and they made me so happy. Elder Araya and I are starting to do great together. In the begining of the transfer, we only had 3 investigators that really had interest in progressing. Now we have about thirteen or fifteen who have really great potential. We have just been looking high and low just about everywhere. It's weird to because a few times we felt impressed to talk to some people who just looked like thugs but they actually were very interested. For example, one had a father who was sick sick sick bad, he was super skinny and stuck in bed. We went and left with a blessing and he was just really happy and thankful. It felt pretty great. I’m loving this work its incredible to be a missionary 24/7. I hope Canada day was the best it sounded like it was crazy. love you all
Elder Maller
