Ok, we just got back from a zone conference which
was pretty interesting because last night the zone leaders called and asked me
if I would give the workshop for the zone conference and they said I could pick
which ever topic I wanted. So last night I had to quickly plan a little lesson
and practices for the zone, but I think it actually went pretty well. Right now
we all are at this one place writing our families together and looking at the
new changes for this transfer! I’ll be
training and a district leader at the same time for the next while. I still don’t
actually know who my new companion is, but I’ll find out tomorrow in the
night. I’m supper excited for this coming transfer. I think Elder Ruiz and I
taught the best lesson of our lives! The
other day we found a family of 6 and they just wouldn’t let us leave, it was
just like they wanted to hear more and more. For the dad he got me to mark five
different parts in his Book of Mormon that would respond to his questions. The
craziest thing is they were all Catholics and not very interested. But the
exact moment when we explained the restoration and all about Joseph Smith, you
could just see in their faces all the connections they were making in their
minds on just how they need to get baptized. I really began to realize how powerful
and precious the restoration and the Book of Mormon are!! What Elder Nelson
said during his general conference talk made me do some deep reflection and I’m
glad to say that I would never trade the Book of Mormon or knowledge of the restoration
for anything not even for rubies or diamonds. I love this gospel some much and
I thank those who have helped me walk the gospel path. I love you
Elder Maller
