Hola
I hope all is going well for you guys! This week went by super fast, I can’t believe its already p-day. This week my comp got sick. We ate some pizza and the next morning he started to just chuck it all back up haha. It was good though cause the I spent the whole day learning Portuguese! I found a Book of Mormon in Portuguese so I started reading it and its pretty similar to Spanish but it’s still tough to understand. On Friday we did divisions and I was with Elder Sales in his area and we found such a miracle family together. Unfortunately it was in his area but it was great cause they seem really prepared; hope it all goes well. The only thing is while I was over there, Elder Mayorga and Elder Pietz got locked out of the pench but locked inside the gates. So they were lock outside but also inside as well haha and they had to wait until 7 o’clock at night for someone to come and break in for them hahah. But nothing else much happened so far. I can’t believe that 10 months ago yesterday I got to the MTC. At home it sounds like within the next few weeks a ton of new missionaries are gonna be leaving;  that is so awesome to hear an I’m so excited for all of you guys that are preparing! I know you guys are gonna do great and I know you guys are gonna love the mish. I love you all

Hola
This week went by soooo fast. Elder Mayorga and I are just having a blast. Not sure if I mentioned but we were in the same district together for about 4 months so we already know each other pretty well. Our week was full of inside jokes from about 6 months ago haha, it was a pretty great time. If you guys remember in the beginning of last transfer I mentioned that the area was all dried up and we had about 3 good investigators.  Well it felt pretty familiar to that lately, as we have been forced to drop a bunch of investigators lately. I’m not even phased by it even a little though, cause me and Elder Mayorga already have a ton of unity and we already know how to contact and teach together, so this week we were able to accomplish a lot of great things together. We made one contact and it was one hundred percent the spirit.  We started looking for her needs and I can’t remember the question we asked but she just started to cry and she told us that she has been looking for something secure like a church because her family has been forced to move all over the place the past year and it’s been hard for her to find pace and settle in.

On Wednesday we also had a really great training meeting with Elder Mark A Bragg from the seventy and I learned a lot there.  About 4 months ago the Area Presidency made us do a survey about all different things about the mission like: our safety, how we work, how we teach, how obedient we are. Elder Bragg came in with the results from the survey and told us that 81 percent of our mission is obedient all of the time. He said it was the highest he has seen which is crazy cool. Although we still have a few other things to work on in our teaching skills as a mission. It was cool though because Elder Bragg taught us all on exactly what we needed through the survey and I actually learned a ton of great things. I hope this week was great for you and you enjoy your last bit of summer hahaha

Hola
This week in Parque has been pretty sweet. Saturday we got the double baptism of Morena and Melanie which was pretty awesome. Yesterday they got confirmed as well! They both are pretty animated about the church, cause now they have a bunch more friends. Ever since we met them, we invited them to the mutual activities and they have gone ever since. This week we also bought them the Book of Mormon for kids, which has all the pictures and stuff. Already they almost have finished it haha. They both fight over it all the time but they just can’t get enough of the Book of Mormon stories. It even caught the eye of their parents and now they are starting to read the Book of Mormon as well!
Today is also the very first day of transfers!! and we find out the changes today but this past Thursday at 10 at night the assistants called us and let us know the changes. Which made it almost impossible to sleep after hahah. But I’m staying in Parque and will be receiving Elder Mayorga!!  We are already great friends. He was in my very first district and we spent 3 transfers together. I’m really hyped, not only because we’re good friends, but because I know we are gonna work really well together!  We had done a ton of divisions before and every time we did them all of our appointments fell in the day so we were forced most of the time to finding. I’m not sure what kind of luck we had together but we always found some really great people, which is especially what we need in Parque right now.  Recently we dropped a bunch of our investigators so we are gotta pick up the finding again which is always fun and I know it’s gonna be great with Elder Mayorga!!  I’m actually really excited!!  This Wednesday we also get to meet and hear from Elder Mark A Bragg from the seventy!!  Pretty pumped because I really enjoyed his talk in general conference!  I hope everything is going great back at home. The summer break is about to wind down soon hahah; enjoy every bit of it!!!

Hola
This past week was pretty great and this coming week is gonna be insane as well. But this past week I got another pretty funny story. Me and Elder Araya were working during the siesta which means that it’s basically a ghost town in the streets. We were outside clapping a door and while we were waiting we hear, this guy start saying I got a knife and I will stab you but he was kinda whispering it to us so in the moment I couldn’t really understand him hahaha.  So he comes up to us and he pretends to sell us avocados hahaha he says 2 avocados for 30 pesos which is a rip off hahah, but my comp started to buys some off of him which I thought was weird but he only had 20 pesos, so to help him out I pulled out of my pocket like 30 pesos and the punk saw it so he started to say “come on 50 pesos I’m from the streets” ( during all this time I didn’t realize that he was robbing us I just thought for some odd reason my comp wanted avocados hahaha). So Elder Araya snatches it from my hand and gives the guy the money and then we get out of there hahaha.  After he explained to me what really happened and what the guy said in the beginning but hahaha crazy eh. This week we weren’t able to go to the temple because Emorena and Melenie cancelled on us last minute because there mom has to go do chemo cause she has a tumor in her jaw but they still were able to come to church the other day which means that they are both getting baptized this Saturday! This is the final week as well of transfers and there has been some pretty big changes but we still don’t now how the transfers are going down. I get to find out this next Monday. This week in Argentina is election week so it’s also gonna get a little crazy and because of that we aren’t allowed to work and we have to stay  in the pench the whole day. They said that if we have to leave, we had to dress normal without our plaques hahaha, will see how this week turns out but I’m really excited for it. I truly I’m loving the mission, every day the spirit has always played a role in just about everything. I love serving the Lord and I love learning something new about myself and about this amazing gospel. I love you all and I hope you have a great week!

Hola
We had an eventful week here in Parque San Martin. To start off, Friday we had our ward activity and it was a great success we had a bunch of members and families come and even a few investigators as well! We played a couple of relay games and in the end we had a big volleyball game outside. It was a great time! Sunday President and Sister Resek and there whole family came and visited our ward. President and Sister Resek even came to our gospel principles class which was a hoot sadly only Luis and his girlfriend showed up for the class but it was a great time. Thankfully Morena and Melenie and EujeƱa showed up at sacrament meeting and president was able to meet with them. President Resek even helped us give the priesthood to Luis!! It was a great Sunday. After, me and Elder Araya shared our testimonies, President and Sister Resek gave a talk and they shared some pretty funny stories. I couldn’t be more happier with the president we have here in Buenos Aires it’s a great time to be serving in this mission! There are also rumors that we will have to chance to meet another apostle near the end of august but were not sure who it will be yet which is also exciting. This week our ward is going to the temple and we got permission from president to go if we can bring an investigator!  We also are gonna see more baptisms in August!! We potentially could have 3 in 2 weeks. We have a few baptismal interviews this week so were hoping all will go well. The weather has actually been petty mild thankfully a bit of cloudy but not too much rain. In a few weeks they say the weather should start to change in to spring which is pretty exciting!!! I can’t believe that you guys are halfway now through summer break! Only one more month left hahah! Hope you enjoy it love yall!
